Block Pave Maintenance
Cleaning
When cleaning the block paving, we remove all the dirt, grime, moss and algae that has built up over time. By cleaning the surface of the block pavers it not only looks much better but it removes anything that will make the surface slippy, especially when it rains. It's amazing just how much grime can build up over surfaces.
Re-sanding
The weather will eventually cause the sand in between the block pavers to dissipate, there will still be some sand present but it will need topping up. After cleaning, we can provide a re-sanding service, if required. Kiln dried sand is brushed over the block paving and the sand particles will settle between the block pavers. This procedure makes a big difference to the appearance of the driveway. A little maintenance does make a big difference and will help to ensure the paving lasts longer.
Sealing
Another service we can accommodate is a sealing service. Once the cleaning and kiln dried sand has been completed. The surface can then be sealed with a professional sealant. Sealants help keep weeds at bay for longer and enhance the colour of the block pavers.
Preparing the surface of the block paving for cleaning and re-sanding
